It was too much power for the shape I had been living in.The world calls it menopause. I call it remembrance.When the first surges came, I learned to move with them instead of resisting. I shook until my breath returned. I walked beneath the sky until the wind steadied me. I lay belly-to-earth, spooned against the soil, and felt her pulse my system back into rhythm.
