Choosing the Reality You Move Through

When I first joined a few online groups about this season of life, I noticed something. Everywhere I turned, women were speaking about how hard it was, how their bodies betrayed them, how everything felt like a storm that would never end. Without realizing it, I began to absorb their stories as if they were my own. My thoughts, my mood, even my energy began to match what I was reading.

Then one day, a woman wrote something that stopped me in my tracks. She said, “I’m completely fine moving through this. My body is wise. I’m grateful for what it’s showing me.”
That single statement shifted everything. It reminded me that our environment is always shaping us,  the conversations we have, the stories we read, the energy we sit in, the thoughts we feed.

This season, I began to choose what I let enter my field. I learned to listen with compassion without absorbing. I could support others without living inside their version of reality. That is the difference between empathy and entanglement.

Every word you read, every show you watch, every person you spend time with creates small ripples that shape your inner world. Where attention flows, creation follows. If you surround yourself with stories of struggle, your body will begin to echo them. When you choose to align with stories of wisdom, growth, and grace, your body will remember its own strength.

This isn’t about avoiding anyone’s truth; it’s about honouring your own. You can hold compassion without carrying the collective pain. You can anchor your field in peace, even when others are moving through chaos.

Your body listens to what your mind believes. Your energy follows what your eyes see. Your heart responds to the stories you choose to feed it.

So choose what nourishes you.
Choose what uplifts your vision of yourself.
Choose to move through this season in your own radiant way.

Because you are allowed to create your own reality,  one grounded in calm, trust, and vitality.

Energy Care Practices


1. Spoon your field.
Take a stainless steel spoon and gently sweep it along your skin, start at your feet to open the path way out, then move to the crown down the back of your neck, along your arms, down your legs. This helps disperse static or stuck energy that belongs to someone else. Do it slowly and with intention, especially after time online or in groups.

2. Tap to clear emotional residue.
Use gentle fingertip tapping on the chest, the side of the hand, or the crown as you breathe through what you feel. Say to yourself, “I am clear. I am centered. All energy within me flows in harmony.”  This shifts emotional charge from your system back into flow.

3. Wash your energy.
Hold your hands under running water. Visualize everything that isn’t yours washing down the drain. Finish with gratitude for your clear and sovereign body.

4. Shield with the sun.
Stand outdoors or imagine sunlight surrounding you. See it filling every cell with warmth and golden light. This is your natural shield,  radiant, grounded, and permeable only to love and truth.

5. Move and breathe.
Energy that lingers becomes tension. Stretch, walk, shake out your hands, or sway your hips. Let your body move energy instead of holding it.

6. Anchor through touch.
Place your hand on your heart, your belly, or the back of your neck and affirm silently, “This is me. This is my field. I am home in myself.”

 
You are allowed to be fully compassionate and fully sovereign at the same time.
You can love others without carrying their stories.
You can belong to community without losing your own center.

Every time you choose your own energy, you choose life itself,  calm, grounded, and true.
